On August 6, 2018, the AASHTO Accreditation and Laboratory Assessment Programs will be adding a new Rock scope to their programs. We will be moving the some methods from the Soils scope to the Rock scope. This additional scope will not impact the cost of an on-site assessment or your laboratory’s AASHTO Accreditation status. It will only change how these tests are listed on your laboratory’s assessment reports, request forms, and accreditation listing/certificate of accreditation.

The deadline for submitting corrective actions and supporting documentation is now 60 days from the date the final report was issued. This change impacts both AASHTO re:source and CCRL on-site assessments.
