How do I pay an AASHTO re:source invoice?
You can pay your AASHTO re:source invoices by check, credit card, or wire transfer. All invoices are payable in US currency.

We now accept credit card payments on-line. Visit our
Payment Portal and enter your account and invoice numbers to pay an individual invoice. If you prefer, you may also contact our Administrative Staff at
240-436-4900, or
info@aashtoresource.org, to make a
credit card payment.
We currently accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover.

How can I pay an invoice online?
There are two ways you can make a payment online.
- Log in to your account and click ‘View Invoices’ from the menu on the left-hand side of your screen. Then click the green ‘Pay’ button on the invoice that you would like to pay. You will then be directed to our secure payment page.
- Visit our payment portal. This is a great option if you do not have the username and password to log into the account. On this page, simply type in the Account Number and Invoice Number shown at the top of your invoice.
Does the online system work with any browser?
The AASHTO re:source payment portal can be accessed from any major, modern browser. To ensure the best experience, please make sure your favorite browser is up-to-date and running the latest version.
Why do I have to log in again on the Payment Portal page?
For security reasons, we may ask you to confirm your access by entering your AASHTO re:source username and password. Alternatively, you may pay individual invoices by entering your account number and invoice number.
Can I print invoices from the Payment Portal?
Yes, invoices can be printed from the invoice detail page. To view invoice detail, first locate your intended invoice by the help of account and invoice numbers. Select the invoice number link to go to the detail page.
What credit cards does AASHTO re:source accept for payment?
We accept American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa.
Can I pay more than one invoice in a transaction?
At this time, our system will only allow you to pay one invoice per transaction.
Can I split the payment over two different cards?
No, all invoices paid online must be paid in full. If you need to split the payment between two cards, please contact our admin staff at 240-436-4900 and we can take your payments over the phone.
Will I be charged any billing or payment fees?
There are no fees to pay your invoice online or over the phone.
How soon will the payment reflect on our account?
Payments made online will be reflected immediately.
I received an error message ‘Enhanced AVS Handling Filter’ and my payment was declined, now what?
Verify you are using the correct billing address associated with your credit card and try processing it again. If the billing address does not match, our system will not process your payment. If you are still having trouble, please contact us at 240-436-4900 and we can attempt to take your payment over the phone.
Will I receive a receipt or confirmation number for my payment?
Receipts are sent to the email address that you provided during the transaction process. Make sure to check your spam folder.
I did not receive my receipt via email, how can I obtain a copy?
If you did not receive a copy of your receipt, please contact us at 240-436-4900 or email us at
payments@aashtoresource.org and we can send it to you. When emailing us, please include the invoice number that you have made the payment on.
Is it safe to make a payment through the AASHTO re:source Payment Portal?
Yes, it is perfectly safe as the credit card transactions are secured using HTTPS protocol. The payment portal uses a high-end security certificate to encrypt all the transaction information.
