Extra Proficiency Samples
Extra proficiency samples (XPSs) are available for sale in limited quantities. XPSs may be purchased for training of technicians, verification of testing or equipment, inter-laboratory studies, and for addressing accreditation issues related to proficiency sample testing. Please note that Soil and Aggregate XPSs purchased to resolve AASHTO Accreditation Program (AAP) issues related to proficiency testing will only include one sample, rather than two.
Only XPSs purchased to address AASHTO Accreditation issues related to proficiency testing (blind samples) will automatically receive rating sheets. Laboratories may request rating sheets for other XPSs for an additional $100 fee. XPSs ratings sheets may also be determined by the participating laboratory based on published sample round analysis information for the specific samples purchased.
All payments are required before extra samples will be shipped.
