AASHTO Accreditation Program (AAP) Fees

Jun 30, 2022

The AASHTO Accreditation Program (AAP) is raising its annual administrative fees starting on July 1, 2022. Most customers will experience this fee increase at the end of the current annual billing cycle (March 31, 2023). However, laboratories that withdraw from the AASHTO Accreditation Program before the end of the billing cycle will experience the fee change in their final invoice.

Changes to the fee structure are listed below:

  • The application fee increases from $550 to $600.
  • The annual base fee increases from $550 to $600.
  • The cap on total annual administrative fees increases from $2,300 to $2,400.
  • The temporary laboratory accreditation extension base fee increases from $550 to $600.

Complete details regarding this change can be found on the AASHTO Accreditation Program Fees page.  The AAP last raised fees in 2019, but prior to that, had not increased its fees since 2008.

Questions regarding this change can be directed to Brian Johnson, AASHTO Accreditation Program Manager.
