Notice of False Claims of Accreditation (November 28, 2023)

Nov 28, 2023

The following has been added to our False Claims of Accreditation page. Please visit that page for a current list of any known false claims of AASHTO Accreditation.

November 28, 2023: Atane Design and Construction Consultants in the New England and Mid-Atlantic regions falsely claims the following information on its website: “Our state-of-the-art facilities...are accredited by AMERICAN ASSOCIATION of STATE HIGHWAY and TRANSPORTATION OFFICIALS (AASHTO).” However, only one of their laboratories, Atane Engineers, Architects and Land Surveyors, D.P.C. dba HAKS, in Ossining, New York maintains AASHTO Accreditation.

If you believe a laboratory is falsely claiming AASHTO Accreditation, please contact Brian Johnson (bjohnson@aashtoresource.org or 240-436-4820).

To avoid unintentionally misstating your laboratory's accreditation status, review our Policy on Publicizing Your AASHTO Accreditation.
