Test Methods Removed from Scopes of Service

Apr 17, 2024

The AASHTO Accreditation and Laboratory Assessment Programs have removed the following metal tests from their scopes:

  • A1064: Welded Plain Steel Wire: Unit Weight
  • A1064: Plain Steel Wire: Unit Weight
  • M336-T244/A1064-A370: Welded Deformed Steel Wire: Tension (Reduction of Area)
  • M336-T244/A1064-A370: Deformed Steel Wire: Tension (Reduction of Area)

These tests are no longer included in our scope of service because Unit Weight determinations are not performed with Plain Steel Wire and Reduction of Area is not performed with Deformed Steel Wire. If you have any questions, please contact us.
