Programs that work for you

"They are rigorous, they’re about making sure our labs, personnel, and test methods conform, that they’re in compliance. They’re independent, not driven by a vendor or a construction company.”

Quality

Our commitment to consistently providing products and services that meet our customers’ requirements and needs is demonstrated by the fact that we are currently celebrating over seventeen years of certification to ISO 9001, Quality management systems – Requirements. AASHTO re:source’s quality management system (QMS) is certified to this standard, which is known internationally as the highest standard for quality for all types of organizations. The requirements in ISO 9001 are many and include a strong emphasis on continual improvement. Adhering to and implementing the requirements in this standard have resulted in countless improvements within our organization, many of which directly impact the quality of the services provided to our customers. The scope of our ISO 9001 certification includes our three major programs – the AASHTO Accreditation Program (AAP), the Laboratory Assessment Program (LAP), and the Proficiency Sample Program (PSP).

In addition to ISO 9001 certification, AASHTO re:source’s Proficiency Sample Program (PSP) has been accredited for ISO/IEC 17043, Conformity Assessment — General requirements for proficiency testing, since 2017. This accreditation requires that we operate our proficiency sample program in accordance with rigorous technical and management system requirements. The technical requirements relate to processes including competency of personnel, equipment performance, homogeneity and stability testing, reporting, and communication with participants. The management requirements relate to processes including document control, purchasing, customer feedback, internal audits, and corrective action.
